Status of Brazilian Economy

I’ve spent for business reasons a nice week in Brazil and I see an economy that is getting more traction after 4-5 years of below par growth. I always find Consumer Confidence as a good leading indicator for medium/short term growth and for Brazil Confidence is growing and growing as you can see from the chart below. This has been confirmed by discussions with local companies & entrepreneurs that I had in Sao Paulo.
