Chinese Economy in Contraction Territory

The Chinese PMI is in contraction territory. This will not make the trade negotiations with the US easier for the Chinese Leadership. In my opinion, either they will embark on a new internal stimulus for the economy which will again increase internal debt, or they will have to accept the conditions of the US Trade Negotiators. I think the first option will be more likely. What do you think?
